I liked this best as an improvement piece from all the finalists.
I do have one question though, are these the same species of owls? Looking at them the one looks more like a horned owl. I figured maybe you didn't have a specific idea in mind when drawing the first or preferred a different kind when doing the after piece, but I'm also not an owl expert. Just a question though, I don't mean any offense by it or anything
I don't think they are the same species. The drawing is done from a picture in a collectors book about wildlife animals. I can't remember exactly why I chose it. I think it appealed most to me. It was a school task. We could choose a picture and then had it to draw as exactly as possible. The last one I liked the most because of it's pose and look (it should be a forest owl, as far as my knowledge goes ). I also haven't the other picture anymore. I moved out of the house a few years ago and don't know if my parents still have that book And totally not offended, by the way
